Wedding favour tags by Aktivart and Design

Favour Tags

Traditionally a small favour (bomboniere or bombonnière) is given to guests (per person or per family) at the reception as a little thank you gesture for coming to your celebration (with a gift). It is tasteful to attach a little thank you message on a tag that is attached to that item. Your names and date appear under the message. Here are some messages to choose from:

With our sincerest thanks

Thank you for sharing in our joy

Thank you for adding to the joyful spirit of our wedding

Thank you for your thoughtful, kind wishes

Thank you for joining us as we begin our new life together

Our heartfelt thanks for your kindness and warm wishes

Many thanks for being with us on our special day

Donation Tags
More common nowadays is to make a financial donation to your favourite charity instead of spending that money to purchase actual favours. You might attach the following to a small little treat for each person:

In lieu of favours, a donation has been made in your honour to
(preferred charity).
Thank you for joining in our celebration.

If you would like to acknowledge the recent death of a close family member, to include them in spirit:

In lieu of traditional favours, a donation has been made in loving memory of the late (bride or groom's relative) to the (preferred charity).
Thank you for joining in our celebration.
