About Aktiv Art & DesignAktiv Art & Design was originally founded in January 1997 by designer Christine Oleksyk Perchal. A graduate of York University's design program, and U of T Faculty of Medicine's Biomedical Communication program, she has worked professionally first as a medical illustrator, and graphic designer.
Upon graduating from university, Christine's career in art and design began concepting and rendering airbrush medical illustrations for such notable clients as Mosby Year Book (USA) and Novartis Ophthalmics. Until Aktiv Art & Design was founded, she worked full time at Mount Sinai and Princess Margaret Hospitals in Toronto. Her scientific illustration work has been published all over North America.
While creating fine wedding stationery for couples everywhere, Christine's well developed design talents and experience, the commitment to her artistic work and responsiveness to the needs of the client create a delightful working relationship with every client that chooses Aktiv Art & Design.
